Ira Bennett is the Managing Director of School Site Advisors (SSA), a division of the Bennett Companies, which for the past 15 years has served public schools, colleges, and transportation agencies in the areas of master planning, site selection, acquisition and project management.  He is also on the Board of Directors of, and Vice President – Director of Special Projects for School Facilities Planning & Management, Inc., a sister company to SSA that provides a full range of consulting services to K-12 districts throughout California.  Mr. Bennett has been in the land development, construction and real estate advisory business for over 30 years.  Headquartered in Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, California, SSA operates throughout Northern and Central California.

Ray Bickel, Director of Facilities Planning at School Site Advisors, has had a long, in-depth career in facilities management, maintenance and operations with K-12 districts throughout California.  He served as Facilities Director at Monterey Peninsula Unified, overseeing a staff of 123 employees dispersed over 24 individual campuses.  Prior to that, he was Facilities Director for the Fallbrook Union High School District, and Supervisor of Maintenance & Operations  at the Encinitas Union Elementary School District.  Ray is the President of School Site Advisor’s sister firm, School Facilities Planning & Management, Inc, (www.SFPandM.com), and the one most directly in charge of  SSA’s M & O Audit, and Facilities Modernization programs.

Jennifer Granborg is the Senior Project Manager for the company’s public school projects, managing formation of the design team, and serving as liaison between the District, its consultants and state agencies such as the California Department of Education (CDE) and the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC). Ms. Granborg schedules and actively manages a variety of tasks required for CEQA, CDE and DTSC compliance, additional entitlements and land acquisitions.
